Please ensure that you are well hydrated before your appointment. We recommend drinking approximately one pint of water beforehand.

Please also ensure that all relevant paperwork is ready for review and that you have a valid form of identification available. The ID must match the details on your doctor’s referral/request.

Charges are applied per person. However, if multiple people are being seen at the same location, any additional travel costs will only be charged once.

Payment is required in full before your appointment.

Payment can be made by bank transfer or PayPal. In the unlikely event that we are unable to attend your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.

As a professional registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), I am bound by strict standards of confidentiality and data protection. Any tests that I undertake are confidential, and I do not have access to view test results once they have been completed.

Likewise, any appointment you attend with me will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality. You can be assured that your personal information will be kept secure and handled in accordance with professional and legal requirements. Any test results, personal details, or information shared during appointments will remain confidential and protected at all times.

I am a fully registered Adult Nurse (NMC PIN: 13H0223W) and have been registered since 2014. Throughout my nursing career, I have continued to develop my professional knowledge and skills, completing a Postgraduate Certificate, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and a Master’s degree in Professional Practice in Health.

Prior to my current role in higher education, I worked in Accident and Emergency nursing in North Wales for over 10 years, gaining extensive experience in the assessment, treatment, and care of patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergency conditions.

I currently work as a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at Wrexham University, where I am involved in the education and development of future nurses. My professional interests include clinical skills development, simulation-based learning, and the integration of innovative technologies into healthcare education. I remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional practice, patient care, and confidentiality in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.

If you feel that blood tests may be required, you will first need a referral from your GP, consultant, or an accredited private blood testing provider who can request the appropriate tests and interpret the results.

My role is to provide a professional blood collection service. Once you have obtained the relevant blood test request form or kit, I can take your blood sample safely and efficiently, either in a clinic setting or at a location agreed with you. The sample will then be processed and analysed by the requesting laboratory or healthcare provider, who will be responsible for reviewing the results and discussing them with you.

Most people experience only mild discomfort similar to a brief scratch. Every effort is made to ensure the procedure is as comfortable as possible.

Many people feel anxious about blood tests. I have extensive experience working with patients who are nervous or have previously had difficult blood-taking experiences and will work with you to make the process as comfortable as possible.

Most routine blood tests can be collected at home. However, some specialist tests may have specific handling or timing requirements. Please check before booking.
